This is one reason why you should practice enough to familiarize yourself with the controls before you take part in a competition.
The term rough and tough should not mislead you into thinking that RC nitro car racing is meant only for men. The thrills and chills of RC nitro car racing is not limited for anybody, what it means is if you happen to take a look at a competition, you will find that men, women, children and even teenagers are interested in RC car racing and te numbers are growing with each passing year.
The rough and tough aspect of RC car racing can be best experienced if you choose to buy or build an off-road RC vehicle like a buggy or a truck. These are really tough RC nitro cars that are capable of handling the trough outdoors even off the roads. Their durable chassis, high bottom-end torque and large tiers provide them with all they need to run at high speeds through all obstacles like mud, rocks, dirt and sand. You would require a good deal of controlling expertise as well to successfully guide your rough and tough RC car through the uneven outdoors.
If you feel motivated to buy a RC car of your own, then inquire well about the product that you are about to spend your money on. Go to websites to read the online reviews about different models from different companies. After you have read what experts have to say, choose your model and buy it from a shop that is known for good after-sell maintenance. You can even order it online if your desired model is not available with the local store. As the RC nitro cars which give the best racing experiences cost more than electric RC cars, set your budget wisely and match your needs with it to get the best RC car that you can.

Question by barneys_assasin: Electric drift rc car building checklist???
I’m planning on building my own electric rc drift car using a kit from yokomo. the kit includes parts for a full chassis, wheels, tires, and a body. it requires i purchase a radio system, sub c type 7.2v battery, and a motor. I’ve got most of the parts i would like picked out but i was wondering if someone knew of a website or something that has a checklist of all parts required to construct a complete rc car? I have a pretty good idea but when i was looking into batteries, i noticed you have to get a certain type of connector to match something (different brands were listed), so do you have get a switch and connector that on the “IN” end hooks up to your battery and the “OUT” end is made to fit in certain brands of recievers? Thanks, any info will be appreciated!

The New E-Revo is the most advanced electric racing monster truck ever created. The 6-time National Champion REVO is already the pinnacle of engineering in the Nitro arena and now E-Revo breaks open an entire new category that embraces todays electric technology. Built from the start to be electric, E-Revo harnesses all the advantages that electric power brings to the race.
The integrated battery compartments position the weight of the batteries as low and as close to the centerline of the chassis as possible. A smooth center skid plate adds strength and beauty while it shields critical driveline components. The low center of gravity, balanced weight distribution, and incredible torsional rigidity yields the best handling Revo platform ever. The proven 16.8 volt EVX-2 power system delivers massive torque through twin Titan 550 motors. Traxxas engineers made E-Revo truly brushless ready with a driveline that has been proven tough for durability at the extreme with brutal 50+mph 6S LiPo power and custom brushless motors from the aftermarket. The unique battery compartments are easily scalable with built-in features to adapt for multiple battery configurations. A separate motor plate was engineered for a clean, low-slung single motor installation. Of course, E-Revo retains all the benefits of the exclusive linkage based suspension system including the most suspension travel possible, tunable progressive damping, independent ride height adjustment, and the absolute highest level of control for any situation. Hard-anodized Teflon coated shocks with TiN shafts, and dual digital waterproof steering servos have been added to further sharpen the handling. Off the racetrack, E-Revo is our most recent model to be equipped with exclusive fully water-sealed electronics. Only Traxxas makes it possible to run through water, mud, snow and other wet conditions. E-Revo is offered fully assembled and Ready-To-Race with the TQ radio system and EVX-2 electronic speed control.
