Hybrid And Pure Electric Cars 2009-2019 Report ( http://www.bharatbook.com/Market-Research-Reports/Hybrid-And-Pure-Electric-Cars.html ) estimates that Electric vehicles just became exciting. For 111 years, electric cars that rely only on a battery – “pure EVs” – have had a range of only 30-50 miles and the humble golf car has been the only type selling in hundreds of thousands every year. However, huge changes have been announced in 2009. Electric vehicles will penetrate the market rapidly to constitute 35% of the cars made in 2025 – 25% hybrids, 10% pure EV. Any motor manufacturer without a compelling line up of electric vehicles is signing its death warrant.
These changes include:
Launch of cars that have a range of 250 miles or more in pure electric mode, including a pure EV family car made in China and plug in hybrid gasoline-electric cars. Launch of the Toyota Prius plug in hybrid that will be very attractive to over one million purchasers of the existing Prius mild hybrid and millions of others. 95% of Prius owners would buy another. First full production of the beautiful Tesla pure EV luxury sports car which silently outperforms conventional equivalents. Large initial orders show that this can be a multibillion dollar sector of the EV car business, particularly if we include new luxury hybrids such as the gorgeous Fiskar Karma. Lithium electric car batteries from companies such as LGChem are claimed to last ten years, not the more usual three years. This hugely improves the economics of all EVs with range acceptable to mainstream purchasers. President Obama’s Stimulus Bill granted .4 billion for hybrids and huge sums have been allotted by other governments across the world to develop and subsidise use of EV cars to save the planet and the car industry and provide independence from dwindling oil reserves.
Within the decade, it will be possible for some suppliers to offer hybrid cars and no price premium to conventional cars in the way that the Japanese took the Western car market by storm 20 years ago by offering excellent vehicles with most accessories thrown in free. There would then be no strong reason why anyone would want the conventional alternative. This unique report takes a detailed look at the market size from 2009-2019 and the government support, technology and new model launches that will get it there. It assesses work on energy harvesting in vehicles from light, heat and shock absorbers, new battery technologies, fuel cells, flywheels and other advances and clarifies which really matter. Here you can also learn which countries and companies are most impressive and why.

Are Electric Car Conversion Kits Realistic For You and Me – Here Are the Latest Developments
Have you ever worked out how much money you spend every month, and every year on gas? If you spend a week, that’s ,400 a year. Of course, there are electric cars and hybrid vehicles on the market that you can buy. But they cost as much as a new car and you often have to pay a premium for electric technology. Electric car conversion kits were supposed to end all that. But if you’ve priced one out lately, you know they are surprisingly expensive-,000 or more-and complicated.
Well fortunately, that’s a thing of the past. Converting your current motor vehicle turns out to be a much less costly route to follow. Now you can buy a guide that show you step-by-step how to convert your car to electric yourself for a fraction of the price of pre-assembled kits.
Before you start ripping your car apart, here are some general tips and facts about converting your car to the electricity.
* Electric car conversions have been used successfully by many people. Guides are available on the internet and are usually complete with all the essential directions, schematics, components lists, and parts sources.
* Even if you are not a master mechanic, you will be able to convert your car yourself. The tools needed are probably in your garage already or at your local hardware store, and the kit will be a step-by-step guide to demonstrate exactly how the job should be done.
* Generally, you can expect to pay around 0-0 to complete the conversion of your car if you’re willing to be resourceful. The best guides give you sources of low-cost or no-cost supplies. You’ll need to pick them up.
* On a single charge, you will be able to travel over 100 miles and reach highway speeds, at least 60 mph.
* It will still be your car, and you can install the new power source in a way that will keep the car looking and working much as it did before. When you want to go, it goes, when you want to stop, it stops.
* Last fact to keep in mind-your current vehicle must have a standard manual transmission. Automatic transmissions don’t work with electric motors.

Electric Car Prices
Electric car prices are a bit the opposite of gasoline car prices. EV car prices tend to be higher but the operating costs are lower. Traditional gas powered may cars cost less, but they have higher operating costs. Of course there are exceptions in the case of exotic cars that cost a lot upfront and to operate!
One of the main expenses for the electric car is the battery pack. It has been recently estimated by those in the know that current battery pack prices are running around 0 or so per kilowatt hour. The new Nissan Leaf has a 24 kilowatt hour pack and the new Chevy Volt will have a 16 kilowatt hour battery pack. We leave the math to you.
The good news is that it appears that battery pack prices could fall by 2 thirds or so in the next 3-5 years to around 0 per kilowatt hour. This is an optimistic price outlook, but it appears possible, again from those with the detailed information. If pack prices plunge to 0 per kilowatt hour, more people will visit electric car showrooms.
There are a number of electric cars coming out in 2010. Below are some preliminary prices on selected cars. These prices are really just guidelines at this point, but should help give some idea of the magnitudes involved.

Lumeneo Smera
NMG
BMW Mini e (limited lease only)
Reva NXG
Tango T600
Tesla Roadster
You can also reserve at this time a Nissan Leaf, and Think City. The Coda should be along soon as well. The Leaf has gotten thousands of preliminary orders.
Don’t forget the Chevy Volt. The Volt is not strictly an electric only car. However, it does have a large on board battery pack and estimated 40 mile range. The Volt estimated price is ,000. People are lining up already.
The rest of the rigs on the list should be coming out in the later part of 2010, or with in the next couple of years. This list is not complete, but gives you some idea of the prices on some of these new electric cars. Actually, the list of proposed electric cars is much longer. Only a handful are likely to make it to mass production.
It should prove to be an interesting couple of years ahead for the electric car.

Electric Car Conversion Made Easy – Find Out How and Never Pay Another Cent For Gas!
Electric vehicle conversion is not rocket science. Anyone can figure out how to do it. If you have ever changed your own oil or a spark plug then you’re overqualified.
To start your EV conversion you will need: Some simple tools you probably already have. A shop or garage. You obviously need a vehicle to do the conversion on. Most importantly you need a detailed set of plans for your electric vehicle conversion.
Just about any small car or truck will work for your EV conversion as long as it has a standard transmission. Using small trucks is a great idea. The more range you want the more batteries you need. Batteries can get really heavy fast. Small trucks are light, but strong and can handle the weight.
You can buy an EV conversion kit but be prepared to spend up to ,000. A better option would be to use parts from fork lifts and golf carts and get reconditioned batteries.
There are numerous examples of electric vehicle conversion being done for 00 or less including the cost of the plans. It would cost a lot more to fix most old gas engines than to convert to electric.
Maintenance costs for an electric vehicle conversion are very low. Very few moving parts and simpler systems mean that it doesn’t break down often. There’s no more expensive tune ups, no more muffler repairs or oil changes either. But best of all there’s no more gas to buy ever. Driving by the gas pumps is a really great feeling too!
An Electric vehicle conversion will do 50 mph on the highway and can go up to 200 miles on a charge. The more batteries you use the further you can go. Electric cars are really fast off the line and nothing can beat them but because acceleration slows at higher speeds they are better suited to city driving.
This is actually a good thing because an electric vehicle conversion will work its best when conventional cars are at their worst. This could really help cut pollution and help stop global warming.
We all know that gas prices are going to rise again. This time they could go as high as according to some analysts. But you wont care. You sure will be glad you learned about electric vehicle conversion and built your own EV car then.
Don’t let low gas prices fool you. There never has been a better time to do an EV conversion. Uncle Sam will even give you a tax credit of up to 00 if you do. Go to the resource box below and get your EV conversion plans now!
Isn’t it time you got started on your own conversion? Get started now before gas prices go through the roof. The big oil companies are rich enough and really don’t need any help from you. Just think about what you could do with all the money you will save. So don’t put it off. Start with your own electric vehicle conversion now!
